This is very nice! I do a lot of (amateur) photography in which I try to capture the life or surrealism of the mountains and forests I wander, but I would love to do work like this. As far as artwork goes, my favorite medium is ink, with which I try to express the surrealism in my head. I say all of this because your image is not unlike the way I see things, and the way I try to represent them on paper with ink. This pic inspires me to use a bit of faded background that I believe my work has lacked. I love contrast, and this pic has a gentle contrast (and an excellent theme) that I like very much.
